Holy Family Cathedral

Completed in 1914, the Roman Catholic Holy Family Church was the tallest building on the Tulsa skyline for a decade.

The crosses atop Holy Family’s three spires have served as a beacon welcoming visitors to the city, sheltering refugees from the Tulsa race riots, and inspiring the Faithful who pray there. The church’s architecture is influenced by French, English, and German Gothic churches. Holy Family’s fifty-nine stained glass windows were custom built by the Royal Bavarian Art Institute and feature events from the life of Christ.
